regional fall planting calendars and guides
I SEARCHED FOR REGIONAL calendars for fall vegetable sowings–or in the case of the warmest zones, that would be a fall-sown, winter-harvested garden. Note that many of these links will pop up as pdf’s, not web pages, as they are formatted that way by their expert creators. Also note that in some cases, the late-season information is far down the page, below the timing and how-to for spring, so keep scrolling/paging through.

What about Hawaiʻi?
I couldn’t find a calendar to link to from the university Extension service (other than one from 1993!). The only Hawaii source I could find with a contemporary calendar was from a farm supply company, which is here.
Which calendar would you recommend we follow for SW Colorado at about 7,000 feet?
Sadly I could never find a fall planting calendar from Colorado State University Extension to link to … CSU’s extensive vegetable guide doesn’t seem to dig into fall successions in a separate section or have a calendar for it, but it’s very detailed about crop-by-crop growing help and is at this link. I think emailing or calling your county extension to find out what the best resource is for you might be a good idea. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
Hi,
What about southern Vermont?
Thank you.
I was never about to find a University of Vermont Extension fact sheet/calendar on fall vegetable planting…the Old Farmer’s Almanac has this one for Bennington. Calling or emailing your county extension office might get you something better.
So why is Ohio excluded, I’m in Cincinnati could I use Ky. But only Northern portion?
I was not able to find a fall successions calendar from Ohio State Extension — sorry. The Old Farmer’s Almanac has this one for your area. Calling or emailing your county extension office might get you something better.
Which sate’s calendar should I follow if I live in Southern CT?
Thank you!
I could not find one from UConn, unfortunately, but I would think the NY/Long Island one would be close to your dates.
