25 years ago, I lived in a house where the previous owner had planted a row pink hydrangeas along the fence. Not knowing any better, every fall, I cut the canes back to the ground and every summer, I had thousands of blooms. I never fed them. I think they were a macro variety and they grew to about 6 – 7 feet. I would love to find that variety again, but don’t know where to start. Does anyone have an idea what type they were. They are still growing there, but they don’t look as good as when I lived there.
