I know that tomatoes are one of the crops that suffer from the allelopathic effects of black walnut trees and some other plants that exude chemicals as if to keep others out of their territory. But I don’t know about tomatoes having this effect on other plants. I grow my cutting tulips in the raised beds where I grow my vegetables, and have never had any issue…but again, this is not a certain scientific answer, just my own experience.
