… not really an urgent question, but rather a story to tell.
I moved into an apartment with a nicely-sized terrace and am still looking to populate it with more greenery.
On a recent road trip to my alma mater in Ithaca, NY, I snipped a piece of ivy from outside the Clock Tower when nobody was looking. It stayed in my friend’s purse for twelve hours (because I had forgotten that it was there). Then it survived a four hours drive back home on top of the car’s dashboard.
Several days later, there is new growth sprouting from the stem!
