Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. I’m really enjoying this new hobby.
Regarding pinching: Where do I pinch? Do I remove the leaves at the bottom of the plant or do I pinch off a part of the center stalk to make the overall plant shorter? (I’ve only read about this briefly in my Container Gardening for Dummies book.)
Side note: The plant has been indoors, in my kitchen window. I only put it on the outside ledge for better lighting and background for the picture.
Another note: My motivation for gardening started when I moved into my new home in September 2007. It has a ~400 square foot terrace. You’ll be hearing more from me as I put more plants out there.
Thanks, again. -Kin
