We have a small flag patio that I laid a few years ago. It is laid in stone dust that we spread to a depth of four inches before setting the flag in place. We then brushed more dust between the cracks. It has not moved in five years. We just used regular stone dust, but you can get a dust that has a binding agent added to it from your local stone yard. When you wet it the binding agent locks everything in place a little tighter. It also keeps weeds from growing between the pavers.
