Thankfully, we’re finally getting some rain here too in Rhode Island. Glad to hear that your asaparagus are no longer ‘MIA’. Those beds are going to serve you well for many many years to come!
I remember more than once yanking out a ‘dead’ something or other in spring, only to find that it was sending up sprouts from the roots and just taking it’s sweet time in making an arrival. Sometimes patience really is the best answer!
