Hi gb – I’ve had plenty of experience with trying to get rid of poison ivy… more like plenty of frustration! I too heard that ’round-up’ would work if used on new growth and fresh cuts. It does take out the new growth, but it didn’t seem to have as much ‘punch’ on more established vines. I was also told to try a product called ‘brush-b-gone’ which is a foam. Minimal success with that as well. It’s a never ending battle for me every year. I’ll be watching to see if someone has a sure-fire remedy!
