Dear Tulip, Welcome. I try to spare myself the total mess of repotting in the house (and washing soil down the drain…BAD!) and just do it when the weather settles, and the houseplants are ready to go out for the summer, sometime in later May. If there’s something that cannot wait, of course I set up and do the repotting inside…and clean up afterward!…but generally I find they are fine with a good tuneup at outdoor set-out time. Margaret
