Can I use the corrugated cardboard method over thick rooted weeds like burdock and then plant vegetables over it right away? Or do I have to wait and let it all break down under the cardboard? Do you just make a hole in the cardboard to plant or plant in the compost on top of it and let the plant break through itself?
