a man mowed over the lilies in my backyard (i moved into this apartment late last summer, the lilies weren’t something i really noticed or thought too much of or even to move them as i was preoccupied with my situation) but i have been anticipating their growth this spring with the first bit of greenery. then a maintenance man came round and mowed them with a riding mower as though they were grass. now i dont know if i can salvage them, move them, let them grow till fall, nothing. i am ignorant but want so much to save these more than 7 dozen individual lily shoots. please guide me in their best interest, it is the middle of may in south eastern nebraska 2008. they get full sunlight as of now. what is my best course of action? i thank you
