Re: mukdenia rossii 'crimson fans'
Mukdenia prefers shade. We tried it at the nursery two years ago at the edge a copse of locust trees where it got morning sun and afternoon shade. It was just sort of holding it’s own last fall, so either it is a little slow to get established or it wasn’t happy there. It is a really pretty plant in the fall as the leaves start to turn, so I have thought about putting it in my shade bed. Let us know how yours does.
