I hear you! I wanted to sow seeds all this last week here, too. Spinach and peas no problem, and then I wait a week or two for the rest of the things, but technically kale (for instance) can germinate at a 40-degree soil temp, as will its cousin Brussels sprouts, and as can lettuce…meaning they aren’t going to perish if sown outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked. In fact, they will often sprout from a fall sowing, even.
I am going to wait until April 1 but am not sure why :) …and many of the references for my area say 4/15 officially. Or maybe I will just walk outside now and go for it. Feeling game?
