HO, HO, HO and all kinds of other holiday cheer from me and Andre Jordan and the Anti-Defamation League of Garden Gnomes (of which he is honorary chairman, I believe). Don’t forget to be kind to them and all the garden’s creatures. And one more thing:
Don’t forget to say a proper thank you to the garden itself. Peace!

I didn’t know that Gnomes cursed. I’m actually a Gargoyle person myself.
I love Andre’s drawings so much, and was thinking that they should be published in a daily flip calendar, so every day you can see a new one (it is that time on year and I need to find another!) I know he has tons of drawings, and some are in a book, but just a garden calendar one would be nice. Please pass on this idea to him :) I would definitely purchase one!
Thanks, Sarah — I agree! We do have postcards, but no calendar yet.
Glad to share a laugh, Val. He is so funny.
Thanks for the giggle!
The cartoon of the gnome on his back made me snort. So funny…and I, too, am bored shitless! Spring, where are you??? Merry Christmas!!
Thank-you for making me laugh during the last leg of Christmas prep! Have a very Happy Holiday Margaret!
Still working on my garden gnomenclature!
Thank you for posting your blogs during this past year. They have been informative and inspirational.
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2012!
Merry Christmas and many “happy hours” in 2012… Thank you for your wonderful, full of enjoyment and educational blogs.
Thank you!, Margaret, for sharing all year through. You’re a blessing…and an inspiration…and a wonderful source of information. Merry Christmas! and best wishes for all good things in the New Year.
A good time to thank you for all the years past, gnome or no gnome, of fun, advice and yummy recipes! Enjoy the holidays and wishing you a peaceful year ahead!
This did make me laugh but also think somewhat seriously and gratefully about how much the garden enriches our lives year-round, including the Christmas season.
I hope the Holidays bring you calm and peace (if not a period of dormancy) as well as the soaring joy you wished us, your readers.
I chuckled at your gnome cartoon! I must admit, I do love garden gnomes, even if some of them do look a little creepy. Also, I “pinned” your picture of Jack in his little bed to my Pinterest page as well as some of your tips. Hope this is okay! May you have a wonderful and blessed 2012. I’m looking forward to your blog as well as listening to you on-line on Robin Hood.
