‘Cacapon’ is known for its upright habit and abundant red fruits. Abundant this year for about 5 minutes, until a flock of cedar waxwings and another of robins spent several days in the plants you see in the photo. Not a fruit remains, and it’s only November. ‘Cacapon’ grows to about 8 feet tall, and if hungry birds don’t dine early, it holds its fruit extra-long, like ‘Winter Red’ does.
