I CONSIDER EVERY PLANT HARDY until I have killed it myself…at least three times’ – Tony Avent, plant hunter and proprietor, Plant Delights Nursery.
never stop wanting more plants, my garden mentor instilled in me 20-plus
years ago, regularly reminding me of another gardener, past 90, who still lusts
for every new thing he can get a cutting of. I promise not to, until I myself

I am having problems with my Elephant Garlic not lasting. It went soft, punky and brown by February.
I hung it until it was completely dry and then stored it in a burlap sack outside.
Do you have any suggestions on why it didn’t last

Welcome, Dale. I don’t have a solution…even some of my regular cloves deteriorated by February/March this year. I was thinking I need to go look for a solution myself, which I will share…
