You all know these guys…and probably all grow them. Easy, rock-tough, graceful perennials with big, grassy clumps of foliage beneath. I even like the seedheads so I don’t deadhead mine till very late (more than I could tolerate in a bearded iris). The only difficulty: division. Underground, the Siberians are also rock-tough. Get out the pick-ax when the center goes dead like the hole in a donut and go at it.
