Viola ‘Terra Cotta,’ new to me this year, is part of the Angel Series from UK-based breeders Floranova. I’ve been attracted to other colors in this series before…and to other Floranova introductions…but this is something really special. I love the way it looks in, well, terra cotta pots (big surprise, considering the name), and its very floriferous and meant to overwinter well (in the ground, not a pot). We shall see.

I’ve loved those planters since the March 2002 cover of Living.

I have to agree about the color of the plants in that planter - very nice. And the flowers all uniform and blooming very nicely. Good show!

Thanks, Rick, and welcome to A Way to Garden. I think this new ‘Terra Cotta’ viola is a winner! I am happy you visited and hope to see you again soon.
