Is it too early to hook up the hose to water them? I’m Zone 5 in the Hudson Valley and last frost isn’t til mid May… any tips? thanks! April 11, 2011 at 12:53 am #29673 Anonymous Frost won’t cause a hose or hose bib to freeze and break, it needs to be really cold, so you should be fine.
