I live in Zone 5 near a small lake so it get damp at times. I have tried several diffenent places to grow Rose of Sharon. The first time it lived and blossomed for 5 years or more. But it got a disease which I treated but it finally died. since then I have tried 3 other spots and the scrub always dies with in a year. Does anyone have a solution?
