ugq, The miscanthus in question is part of a mixed border along with many others (well behaved). Good sun, etc. When I cut back in late winter I noticed that this guy had really turned into a big bagel and as I had other more pressing garden needs this spring I thought I would ignore the need for division and try the T.DiS.A. cutting back approach. How often do you find the need to divide?
