I’m an inexperienced gardener but I’d like to grow some herbs this season. Should I follow any guidelines when planting? Can pungent herbs like cilantro or chives (chives are an herb, right?) be planted near more mild-flavored herbs like parsley, or will the odors and flavors be transferred?
My herbs have developed dried up leaves only on the ends. I have had a bug problem too, but I don’t know if the two are related.
I have a safe spray that I used for the bugs, but what about the dried up ends? Can I save the plants, or do I need to start over.
Ps. They are planted in a mix of cactus and potting soil — in pots.
