I am an industrial design thesis student looking for insight on the pleasures of gardening as well as the benefits in context to how it can improve our experience of winters. (More specifically looking at mood disorders of cold weather)
What do we enjoy about gardening?
How can our gardening needs be translated in winter? (how can these needs be met in winter)
Are there effective solutions for indoor gardening that enables us to enjoy gardening fully from the process of planting, to the visual enjoyments of gardening? what about health benefits? and benefits to our mood?
What are some sound solutions for urban gardening (small spaces both indoor and outdoor)?
What are some trends that are developing within the context of the above?
Thanks your answers and comments would be much appreciated.
