Also, keep in mind that berries love acidic soil (around a Ph level of 5) and lots of fertilizer. I condition mine with Happy Frog soil amendment that I found at Worm’s Way Garden Center in Bloomington, IN. They also have a mail order department if you do not live in that area. I also found that if the transplants are planted too deeply than they have a harder time establishing a good root base. Theses are the things we learn with trial and error; good luck and happy planting!
