		<description>Welcome, Diana. I once planted 4,000 crocus, and by the time they were through blooming the first spring, not a one was still in the ground. I never tried crocus again. The ones not dug in fall were first beheaded while in flower in April, then dug up for good measure. Lovely. Thanks for your comment and hope we see you soon again.</description>

When I say my squirrels dug up every bulb I planted, so that we don&#039;t even bother with bulbs anymore, I am not kidding (to be sure these are bulbs planted in an NYC co-op garden, and New York squirrels are tougher than most) but you can say that with a straight face in this town and it won&#039;t be a lie.
